Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga Teacher, Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist, Yogi, Wife & Mom of Two!
Join me for Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Wednesdays 5:15pm at the Lindsay Lounge.
Each 60-minute class is designed for the body and mind during pregnancy and postpartum as you transform both physically and emotionally from your first to fourth trimester.
With a focus on pelvic floor awareness, functional articulation and connection to your true core, build strength and support by activating key muscles through mindful movements. Find ease with restorative stretches and explore breathing techniques that help prepare guide you through the birth of your baby (babies). Our physical exercise is designed to help you reconnect after delivery as well. I recommend returning to this class if you are 2-6 months postpartum to reestablish synergy of the deep core muscles prior to advancing to more strenuous training.
Guided meditation aids in relaxation during these times of transition, developent and constant change.
All of these practices combined can benefit you by relieving discomfort, improving posture and allowing you the time to focus on nurturing and bonding with your baby (babies). So much of the wisdom you gain from these classes can be implemented into your birth experience, postpartum recovery and life with a newborn.
Note: My Women's Core Vinyasa Yoga Classes are a great next step for postnatal students who are ready to advance and all purchases are transferrable between classes.
All necessary props are provided. Just bring your water bottle and a Yoga mat (I will have extras if needed).
