The following Terms & Conditions have been enacted to ensure the safety and responsibility of the Teacher, Students and all parties involved in Yoga Flora events.

Teacher Student Agreement

  1. Liability

1.1 You alone are responsible to decide whether to practice yoga. In participating in a guided class, you understand that yoga includes physical movements and, as with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. You will be participating, fully aware of these risks of injury and acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk.

1.2 It is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to, and/or regarding, your participation in this class. By attending, you represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition which would prevent your participation in any yoga class. Please advise the teacher if you are pregnant or have any medical condition. It is your own responsibility to decide whether to continue yoga when pregnant or aware of any medical condition.

1.3 For Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga classes and events, information pertaining to labor, delivery or prenatal/postnatal health offered by Yoga Flora does not constitute actual medical advice fuor you or your baby. You should not act on any information without first consulting with my Physician.

1.4 If pain or discomfort is experienced, listen to your body, adjust the posture or terminate the practice and/or ask for help.

1.5 Various food and drink may be offered during Yoga Flora events, catered from different sources. While we always attempt to avoid allergens and provide dietary preferences, we cannot always guarantee this, especially if not notified of such circumstances. It is your responsibility to advise the organizer of any allergies and preferences. Ultimately, you consume food at your own judgement. If you need to bring your own meal, you are welcome to. Please discuss this with an organizer.

1.6 Yoga on Stand Up Paddleboards (“SUP”) and using SUPs exposes many hazards and entails unavoidable risk of death, personal injury (including but not limited to drowning or bodily injury) and loss of or damage to property. Should you join a class, you will be doing so in spite of these risks and hereby understand and assume all risk of injury, loss of life or damage to property arising out of using the SUP.

1.7 By participating in this class/event, you shall knowingly, voluntarily and expressly agree to irrevocably release and waive any claim against Yoga Flora, including its instructors, owners, staff, partners and representatives.

   2. Release & Rights to Content

2.1 By participating in this class, you acknowledge and consent to the creation of photographic and/or video material that may be created during the program (herein called “content”). You may notify Carley/Yoga Flora prior to the content creation if you wish to be exempt from the content when it is being photographed/filmed. This option can only be exercised if notified in advance, before the class or event.

2.2 Once content is created, you hereby authorize the use of content by Yoga Flora including their owners, teachers, representatives, licensees and successors for any purpose whatsoever including without limitation: sale, reproduction in all media, publication, display, broadcast and exhibition for promotion, advertising, trade, art or illustration without further compensation.

2.3 Any content shared, you shall not alter, edit or enhance in any manner, or use, reproduce, sublicense, or sub-distribute the content, either as a standalone clip, collection, set of clips, downloadable file, template or other media/stock product for distribution or resale as your own or as part of another, third party library, media platform or training without the written consent of Carley Sullivan of Yoga Flora.

   3. Email Subscription

3.1 Upon registering for an event or subscribing to Yoga Flora's newsletter you agree to receive from Yoga Flora, via email, publications, promotions, discounts, updates, invitations to openings and events and any marketing material relating to Yoga Flora and its activities. You will be entitled, at any time, to unsubscribe and/or notify Yoga Flora of your desire to stop receiving such mailings.

   4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Classes are non-refundable in the event that a class or classes are missed by the student or the student is unable to attend future sessions.

4.2 If due to inclement weather, inoperative venue or other act of god, a class may need to be cancelled. Classes will resume as soon as possible but cannot guarantee the availability for all registrants. In this case, purchased classes can be extended to future sessions or refunds may be requested.

4.3 In the event that a SUP Yoga class must be cancelled due to weather and/or wind, an indoor yoga class will commence, on location at Sarovara Yoga, within the studio.

4.4 Classes are non-transferrable and cannot be used toward any other class, event, workshop or offering by Yoga Flora.

To register for an event held by Yoga Flora (Carley Sullivan) you must acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions. Thank you for your responsible judgment and collaborative support.
